We do, and we’re used to working within them. Most Irvine communities have HOA standards about leaving items out, so we never stage anything at the curb to wait for pickup. Everything comes straight out of your garage or unit and onto the truck the same visit, so there’s nothing left sitting where it shouldn’t be.
All the time. The end of a lease near UCI usually means a pile of furniture, a mattress, and odds and ends nobody wants to haul home for the summer. We clear out the whole unit in one trip, manage the stairs and tight apartment parking, and get it empty and ready for the next tenant.
You can save a little, yes. Items on an upper floor or up a flight of stairs come with a small stair fee, so if you bring everything down to the garage or ground level ahead of time, you can avoid it. That said, we’re always happy to do the heavy lifting and handle the stairs ourselves, so it’s entirely up to you and how much you’d rather not carry.
For sure. A lot of our Irvine calls are exactly that, one tired couch, a mattress someone finally replaced, a treadmill that became a coat rack. There’s no minimum and no pressure to fill the truck. Single items start at $49, and you only pay for the space it takes up.
