Bulky items are priced mainly by how much room they take up in the truck, with weight factored in for the heaviest pieces. A hot tub or a piano fills more space and takes more crew to move than a single piece of furniture, so these jobs are quoted individually rather than at our base rate. Yes, this is what we do. Hot tubs, pool tables, safes, big exercise machines. We bring the crew and the equipment to break them down and move them safely. You don’t lift a thing and nobody gets hurt.
When we have to, yes. A hot tub usually has to be cut down to get it out of a backyard, and a slate pool table comes apart in heavy sections. We handle the breakdown on site so it actually fits out the gate or door.
That’s usually the whole challenge, and it’s the reason people call us. Tight side gates, basement stairs, second-floor balconies. We figure out the path and do the heavy carrying so you don’t have to.
